Jhumka Water Festival 2024

Various competitions are being organized for all the citizens of Koriya district in Jhumka Water Festival which is proposed to be happen on 1st and 2nd Feb 2024. To participate in competitions, it is mandatory to follow the following guidelines:-

  1. Participation in the competition will be done through online mode from 19.01.2024 to 28.01.2024 by uploading Video / Photo by using either Link or QR code as mention along with category of events.
  2. Participant can also participate by sending video/ photo to What’s up on- 9340591940 by writing competition name , Participant name, mobile number , father name, and address
  3. The competition winner will be announced on 30.01.2024
  4. Only residents of Korea district can participate in the competition

1 Painting Competitions
  • The theme of the painting to be made under the painting competition will be based on any topic of Ramayana/Ramcharit Manas.
  • The participant will have to mention his name, father’s name, address on the cover page of the painting
  • Participants can make paintings on any size paper
  • Hardcopy of the painting will be sent to the office of District Panchayat Korea, Chhattisgarh. of N.R.L.M. It will be mandatory to deposit in room number 23 of the first floor of the branch by 5:30 pm on 28.01.2024 (For deposit, Mr. Manish Kumar Mob. No. 8319820424 can be contacted)
  • While submitting the painting online, it will be mandatory to upload the photo of painting in image (jpeg) file of maximum 10 MB size.
  • First, second and third prize will be awarded to the winner participant

2 Singing / Dancing /Vadan competition
  • For the singing / dancing/ Vadan competition, the participant will have to make a recording video of his/her art of maximum 2 minutes (max size 100mb)and upload with filling required filed. Use mention link or QR code for sending
  • First, second and third prizes will be awarded to the participants in all categories
  • For the singing the participant will have to submit the video of his/her song/dance without background music/with his/her own music or with a musical band. Singing with KARAOKE will not be accepted. This rule is not applicable for dance and Vadan.
  • first winner of all three categories will get chance to perform on stage of Jhumka Water Festival
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of the district level Jhumka Water Festival competition committee will be final and valid.

3 Korea Talent Hunt Competition
  • Any person/caste/class/gender can participate in the Korea Talent Hunt Competition.
  • Participant will upload their two minute video (max size 100mb).
  • The art of dancing/singing/playing will not be accepted under Korea Talent Hunt competition
  • Under the Korea Talent Hunt Competition, participants with talents such as mimicry, laughter, stunts, unique art, magic, magic and all other types of talents that display special art can participate.
  • Awards will be given to first, second and third winner participants
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of the district level Jhumka Water Festival competition committee will be final and valid.
